Requirements

• Previous experience in a meat department or similar food service role preferred
• Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation, and safety standards
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to store standards and customer requests
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department, including refrigeration units and workstations
• Ensure all meat products are properly labeled, priced, and stocked
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering questions
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management for stock replenishment
• Adhere to food safety regulations and quality standards at all times
