Requirements

Previous experience in a meat department or similar food service role preferred
Knowledge of meat cuts, preparation, and safety standards
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items
Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to store standards and customer requests
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the meat department, including refrigeration units and workstations
Ensure all meat products are properly labeled, priced, and stocked
Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their selections and answering questions
Follow safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management for stock replenishment
Adhere to food safety regulations and quality standards at all times
