About The Position

Join our dynamic team as a Meat Processor working in our Smokehouse, where you will play a vital role in preparing high-quality smoked meat products for our customers. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, food industry environment focused on craftsmanship, safety, and excellence. You will be responsible for managing the Smokehouse schedule, documentation, prioritizing tasks, and offer strategic input to the Plant Manager on Smokehouse operations. This union position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on training both in our Smokehouse and cross training in other areas of our Plant, career growth opportunities, and the chance to build a long-term career in food production while playing a crucial role in driving operational success.

Requirements

• Must be at-least 18 years old
• Safely lift 50lbs from surfaces of varying heights without assistance
• Have reliable transportation to work
• Must be comfortable working weekends, as needed
• Willingness to learn and grow
• Effective problem-solving skills
• Safety conscious and compliant with workplace protocols
• Reliable and dependable work ethic
• Ability to communicate clearly
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Team-oriented and collaborative
