Curtze Food Service in Erie, PA, is seeking to hire a second-shift full-time meat packer for their protein facility, Specialty Steak Service. The full-time meat packer will efficiently package all meat products according to company standards in a USDA-inspected facility. This position requires bending, stooping, twisting, reaching above, reaching across, using repetitive motion, heavy lifting, and the ability to stand for a minimum of 8 hours daily. The Packer Trimmer will be exposed routinely to adverse temperatures from cold 20-40° F, damp/wet, to freezing temperatures. In addition, this position requires the use of sharp cutting tools. The ideal candidate will have relatable work experience and withstand a cool and freezing work environment. On-the-job training is provided, and no previous experience is necessary.
