About The Position

Perry and Sons Market & Grille is looking for a meat market cashier! Your job as meat market cashier will be a blend of hospitality and operations. Aside from assisting customers in the meat market and processing payments, you'll often be responsible for making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly, restocking items, and answering the phone. The most important aspect of your work as Meat Market Cashier is to provide accurate and friendly service to ensure guests will return.

Responsibilities

Assisting customers in the meat market
Processing payments
Making sure the front of the house is neat and orderly
Restocking items
Answering the phone
Ensuring full knowledge of all cuts of meat and products sold
Stocking and helping maintain inventory of all cuts of meat and products in meat market
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in meat market
Assisting Togo cashier as needed
Maintaining a presence behind the meat market counter at all times
Ensuring all necessary items are stocked, including all meats, seasonings, freezer & cooler items
Completing opening and closing cashier duties
Assisting kitchen manager with market projects as instructed
