That's WEIS! The Meat Manager is responsible for the functions below, in addition to other duties as assigned. This role promotes excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer focused behavior with associates, focusing on continuous improvement, and developing localized merchandising plans. The manager will also monitor competitor activity, schedule and train Meat associates, manage inventory levels, and ensure department expenses are controlled. Adherence to all food and personal safety codes, and maintaining general sanitation in the department are critical. The Meat Manager supervises associates within the department and may assume total leadership of the building in the absence of store management.
