  • Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and quality verification.
  • Execute merchandising activities including signage and pricing accuracy.
  • Provide tailored service including special cuts and custom orders.
  • Maintain compliance with food-safety and workplace conduct standards.
  • Sustain physical requirements such as standing, lifting, and gripping throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality customer service aligned with company standards.
  • Oversee daily operations and staffing of the Meat Department.
  • Apply and enforce company policies and procedures for safety.
  • Review reports to identify successes and opportunities.
  • Schedule, supervise, train, and assign duties to meat cutters and clerks.
  • Implement merchandising programs and create signs, ensuring pricing integrity.
  • Perform monthly inventory and maintain accurate records.
  • Manage ordering, receiving, and quality checks of meat deliveries.
  • Cull cases daily, remove expired products, and apply markdown programs.
  • Safely operate meat-processing equipment and comply with food-safety requirements.
  • Take customer special orders, including special cuts.
  • Adhere to uniform and grooming policies.
