About The Position

The Meat Manager is responsible for providing World Famous Friendly Customer Service, meat cutting, processing, wrapping, pricing, merchandising, cleaning, sanitation, stocking the deli, receiving product, tracking invoicing, maintaining accurate inventories, assisting with department hiring, and coaching/accountability/evaluations of team members.

Requirements

World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Ability to create a “team” atmosphere.
Ability to lead, motivate, coach & direct team members.
Ability to follow safety standards & required operating procedures.
Ability to lift heavy objects up to 80 pounds.
Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & computer technology.

Responsibilities

Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors.
Meat Cutting, Processing, Wrapping, Pricing, Merchandising.
Cleaning and Sanitation.
Stocking Deli.
Receiving Product.
Tracking Invoicing.
Maintaining Accurate Inventories.
Assist with Department Hiring.
Team Member Coaching/Accountability/Evaluations.
Taking Inventory.
Writing & reviewing all orders for accuracy.
Receiving product.
Meat cutting and wrapping.
Clean-up and sanitation.
Stocking meat counter.
Putting product away in cooler and freezer.
Coaching department team members for performance improvement.
Assist with the creation of department work schedules.
Weekly Computer-Paperwork.
Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
