About The Position

As a Meat Cutter Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced meat cutters to learn how to cut, trim, and prepare a variety of meat products. You will help set up displays, maintain cleanliness and food safety standards, and provide customer service. This hands-on role is suited to someone with a strong work ethic who is willing to learn and grow their skills. No prior meat-cutting experience is required.

Requirements

• A strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn and contribute to the team.
• Basic knowledge of sanitation and safe handling practices for raw meat.
• Friendly customer-service approach and ability to answer product-related questions.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., stand for extended periods, and work in refrigerated environments.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
• Willingness to work with teammates and contribute to a positive store culture.
• Familiarity with, or willingness to learn to use, meat department tools and equipment.
• No prior meat-cutting experience is required.
