Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
1+ years meat department experience
Ability to sit, stand, and use hands to handle objects, tools or controls.
Vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Ability to walk and work in Freezer and Refrigerator Cooler as needed throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Assist and support the Meat Department by providing a high level of customer service and practicing safe food handling procedures.
Stocking and merchandising responsibilities in both fresh and frozen cases.
Update product pricing as necessary.
Ensure product's quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation in coolers.
Rewrap meat packages as needed.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment to ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.
Ensure a great customer experience.
Maintain pork rind rack clean and organized.
Keep meat displays clean and presentable.
Store cleaning supplies properly.
Advertising department products.
Other duties as assigned.
