Responsibilities

Keeps the department clean, organized, and properly zoned to ensure it is customer-ready at all times.
Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.
Ensures all merchandise is correctly signed and priced.
Follows established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
Adheres to food safety and cold chain standards, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration date compliance.
Takes customer orders and prepares deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken.
Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.
Follows all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
Manages overnight hours effectively and planning accordingly to stay energized and focused.
Effectively manages work hours and plans ahead to maintain energy and focus throughout the shift.
Handles a fast-paced workload with efficiency, ensuring large volumes of restocking and recovery are completed accurately and on time.
