Responsibilities

Maintains department organization and standards by keeping the department clean, organized, and properly zoned.
Rotates stock regularly and removes expired or unsellable products.
Ensures accurate pricing and signing by correctly signing and pricing all merchandise and following established procedures for ordering, clearance, markups and markdowns, signing, flagging, pricing, and labeling.
Follows food safety and cold chain practices, including temperature checks, thermometer calibration, proper food handling, product rotation, sell-by dates, and expiration date compliance.
Prepares and serves deli products by taking customer orders and preparing deli items such as meat, cheese, and fried chicken.
Uses slicers, stackers, rotisserie ovens, deep fryers, and other tools safely to prepare food, fill display cases, and complete special customer orders.
Complies with all Health and Safety guidelines and Company policies to maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic work environment.
Is open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
