About The Position

The Meat Associate helps customers and assists with receiving, inventory, and storage of meat products. The role involves pricing, stocking, rotating, and preparing products, while maintaining safety and sanitation standards in all meat product areas. Associates provide customer service and product recommendations, prepare products for the service counter or special orders, and set the service case. The position requires working in a cold environment and meeting the physical and ergonomic requirements of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries, break down loads, and rotate product in the cooler.
• Weigh, price, and label products.
• Stock cases and select products.
• Prepare value-added products.
• Provide exemplary customer service.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and suggestive selling.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
• Process cuts for the service counter or special orders.
• Set the service case.
