About The Position
The Meat and Seafood Team Member helps The Fresh Market deliver an extraordinary everyday eating experience by providing excellent guest service and supporting operations across store departments. Team members may work in Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, or the Front-End. The role involves learning guests’ wants and needs, assisting them with meal solutions, maintaining knowledge of products and weekly ad items, merchandising and stocking products, gathering carts, and helping with housekeeping. Team members are expected to present themselves professionally and follow uniform standards.
Requirements
- Have a passion for providing extraordinary service.
- Be at least 16 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Engage with guests to learn their wants and needs and help them create meal solutions.
- Maintain knowledge of products and weekly ad items throughout the store.
- Work across departments to assist guests.
- Merchandise and stock products and specialty items throughout the day.
- Assist nearby guests while merchandising and stocking.
- Gather shopping carts from the parking lot.
- Assist with general housekeeping duties throughout the store.
- Present oneself professionally and adhere to uniform standards.
