About The Position

CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years is seeking a Measurements Engineer I to develop innovative software and imaging solutions that support advanced manufacturing inspection systems. This opportunity is ideal for engineers with strong C#, Python, image processing, and data analysis experience who enjoy solving complex technical challenges and bringing new technologies into production.

Requirements

  • Strong programming experience with C# and Python.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming and software architecture principles.
  • Experience with image processing techniques including blob analysis, edge detection, morphology, feature extraction, classification, and metrology.
  • Data retrieval, visualization, and statistical analysis experience.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while working independently and collaboratively.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Halcon, OpenCV, or similar image processing libraries.
  • Machine learning and CNN development experience.
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and measurement systems engineering.
  • Database management experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing quality, inspection, or metrology systems.
  • Optical measurement system development experience, including cameras, lighting, lasers, and 3D imaging.
  • Understanding of physical optics principles.

Responsibilities

  • Develop software applications and image processing algorithms for manufacturing inspection systems.
  • Design data analysis and visualization solutions that improve production performance and product quality.
  • Transition engineering solutions from development into manufacturing environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and production release documentation.
  • Train engineering, maintenance, and operations teams on new applications and processes.
  • Troubleshoot deployed applications through remote and onsite data analysis and performance monitoring.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to improve manufacturing inspection capabilities.
