About The Position

This position tests & maintains gas meters, regulators and relief valves, RTU & SCADA equipment and related communication equipment, valves and valve operators and gas filters in a manner to meet the customer’s operational needs while ensuring compliance with partnership and regulatory requirements. Assists with new meter installations, preventative maintenance, and field solutions for measurement related problems in compliance with applicable specifications, codes, safety standards and operating procedures. Perform periodic accuracy tests including the calibration, inspection and maintenance of all equipment related to quality and quantity determination. Adheres to company standards of documentation. Performs plate changes and general upkeep of the end devices. Collect gas samples in compliance with partnership safety and industry guidelines. Visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment. Coordinates with the customers Measurement Department and Production Department as required and provides support for gas volume discrepancies. Assists in volume recover by providing information. Performs other duties as assigned by customer and/or the company. Participate in partnership safety program and initiatives.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of various types of measurement equipment
• Basic knowledge of the oil and gas industry
• Basic Computer Skills (Word, Excel, Email, etc.)
• Ability to think critically and evaluate solutions
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and MVR/background check
• High school diploma or GED
• Knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT, RRC, OSHA, NEC, AGA, API and GPA requirements and procedures
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills to interface with customer base
• Basic Configuration, Calibration & Testing of the following EFM’s: Total Flow: 1 year
• Basic Configuration, Calibration & Testing of the following EFM’s: ROC: 1 year
• Lifting to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Driving, walking, standing frequently
• Exposure to adverse weather, cramped conditions and some heavy lifting
• Occasional overnight travel may be required
• Driver's License (Required)
