Requirements

Must live within 30 miles of facility
Physical requirements - standing/walking; climbing stairs, ladders, and scaffolds; bending/stooping/squatting; carrying and lifting items 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet
Working conditions - exposure to extreme heat and cold temperatures and enclosed spaces
Strong computer skills
Excellent verbal communications skills
Problem solving skills and ability to manage filing system
History of safe work
High school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude.
Current Drivers License with clean record.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with natural gas pipelines and compressor facilities as well as familiar with DOT 192 Regulations
College or technical school degree
Mechanical and/or Electrical degree
Mechanical and/or Electrical industry related training

Responsibilities

Calibration, gas sampling, testing, operation, and maintenance of measurement facilities in assigned area, likely to provide support in adjacent areas, along with project support.
Responsible for over-protection systems, maintaining and inspecting valves, flow control valves, pressure control valves, valve actuators, remote capabilities to various types of equipment and maintaining gas conditioning equipment and various analyzers.
Environmental, health, safety, and reliability support for natural gas transmission, including recognizing and reporting abnormal and safety-related operating conditions, accident and near-miss reporting, emergency response, regulatory compliance activities, and equipment repair.
Participation in emergency and abnormal condition callouts for assigned area.
