About The Position

OCES is growing and expanding its services to cover more towns in the south shore area, including Quincy and Braintree. OCES is dedicated to supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and coordinating services to promote healthy, safe living, enabling them to remain active and engaged in their communities. The organization's mission is to support independence and dignity through a talented and diverse workforce, offering vital services that positively impact the community. The Meals Site Manager will oversee food service operations at assigned meal sites for the Meals on Wheels Program, ensuring nutritious meals are provided to consumers. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful daily contribution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Monday through Friday mornings.
• 22-25 hours per week.

Nice To Haves

• Business experience preferable.
• Food service experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Council on Aging (COA) Director and Housing Authority personnel to assign and direct the work of volunteer staff and home-delivered meals drivers.
• Collaborating with COA Director and Housing Authority personnel to promote a congenial and harmonious meal site.
• Delivering meals on occasion as necessary.
• Ensuring that all health, sanitation, and safety regulations are met.
• Providing accurate and timely reports as prescribed.
• Receiving and accounting for donations according to OCES procedure.
• Other duties as assigned.
