About The Position

OCES is growing and expanding its services to cover more towns in the south shore area. OCES is dedicated to supporting older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and coordinating services to promote healthy, safe living, enabling them to remain active and engaged in their communities. The organization is seeking a compassionate Meals Site Manager to manage food service operations at designated meal sites for the Meals on Wheels Program, ensuring consumers receive nutritious meals. This role offers the satisfaction of making a daily positive contribution.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

• Business experience preferable
• Food service experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with Council on Aging (COA) Director (and Housing Authority personnel when appropriate) to assign and direct the work of volunteer staff and home delivered meals drivers
• Collaborating with COA Director and Housing Authority personnel to promote a congenial and harmonious meal site
• Delivering meals on occasion as necessary
• Ensuring that all health, sanitation, and safety regulations are met
• Providing accurate and timely reports as prescribed
• Receiving and accounting for donations according to OCES procedure
• Other duties as assigned
