About The Position

New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Meal Delivery Driver to serve clients across various programs, including daycare, youth, and adult services. The driver will be responsible for transporting healthy meals from the Culinary Center in Chandler to NHCC locations in Tempe, Phoenix, Glendale, and Casa Grande within the Phoenix Metro area. This role requires embodying NHCC's values of commitment, purpose, and integrity through excellent customer service and professionalism. NHCC is a non-profit agency specializing in behavioral health services for at-risk children, teens, and adults, aiming to empower clients to become productive community members. The agency emphasizes diversity and inclusion, providing accessible, equitable, and culturally competent mental health care.

Requirements

At least 21 years of age
High School Diploma or GED
Valid AZ Driver's License
Clean Driving Record
Ability to complete criminal history self-disclosure affidavits
Ability to obtain an Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (involves state and federal criminal background check)

Responsibilities

Execute safe driving best practices when operating delivery vehicles for meal deliveries with a sense of urgency
Represent New Horizon Community Care in a positive light by upholding our core values
Maintain Operational Excellence in vehicles and delivery area (cleanliness, speed and accuracy, taste of food, and attentive & courteous) at all times
Complete some kitchen tasks and light meal prep as directed
Meet with Culinary Center Chef on shift to receive specific duty(s) on current shift
Adhere to NHCC rules and dress code at all times
Other duties as assigned
