About The Position
White Blossom Care Center is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MDS Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis. The MDS RN is responsible for coordinating and completing accurate Minimum Data Set (MDS) assessments in compliance with state and federal regulations.
Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing
- MDS experience required (SNF/long-term care preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Medicare, PPS, and OBRA regulations
- Excellent documentation, organizational, and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Complete and coordinate MDS assessments and care area assessments (CAAs) accurately and timely
- Ensure compliance with CMS, state, and facility regulations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans
- Monitor documentation to ensure accuracy and reimbursement optimization
- Participate in audits and quality assurance activities as needed
