As a Full Time MDS, Coordinator at Christian Care Centers-Mesquite, your day-to-day responsibilities will be essential to maintaining our commitment to exceptional care. You will conduct comprehensive assessments of our residents, ensuring accurate documentation of their medical histories and needs. Daily tasks will include collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans and participating in care conferences to discuss resident progress. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while providing guidance to staff on best practices in resident care. Monitoring resident conditions and facilitating accurate coding for reimbursement will be key components of your role. Expect to engage with families, addressing any concerns with empathy and professionalism, and fostering a customer-centric approach within your team. Your problem-solving skills will be vital as you navigate challenges and support continuous improvement in our care delivery.

Requirements

  • Current RN license.
  • Minimum of two years of MDS experience in long-term care or similar healthcare environments.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in various computer programs, including Microsoft Office and web-based software systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
