About The Position
The MDS Coordinator coordinates and completes comprehensive resident assessments (MDS), ensuring assessment data is accurate and submitted on time. The role serves as a resource for resident care planning, conducts orientation sessions on the MDS process, and collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to support care planning, regulatory compliance, and reimbursement accuracy.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- LPN/LVN or RN license required.
- Working knowledge of all regulatory and compliance standards related to MDS.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete comprehensive resident assessments (MDS).
- Ensure assessment data is accurate and timely.
- Serve as a resource person for resident care planning activities.
- Conduct orientation sessions on the MDS process.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care planning.
- Support regulatory compliance and reimbursement accuracy.
