About The Position

Avalon Care Center Federal Way is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as its MDS Coordinator and join its clinical team. The position oversees Medicare and Managed Care residents and services provided during their inpatient stay, from admission through discharge. It is also responsible for accurate and timely completion of all OBRA-required assessments and is considered a key financial and clinical member of the management team. The role is not subject to nursing call schedules. This is a full-time position with a stated wage range of $55.00–$60.00 per hour. Placement within the range depends on years of experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions. Requirements

Hold a current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
Be well-versed in interpersonal communications.
Be familiar with the RAI process and case management.
Be able to read, write, and speak English.
Meet applicable local health regulations and pass a post-employment physical exam if required, including drug screening, criminal background investigation, and reference inquiry.
