About The Position
The MDS Coordinator - RN is a finance related position requiring good clinical skills to develop, implement, and manage a successful Medicare Part A program from admissions through discharge. Must promote good public relations for the unit and maintain patient confidentiality.
Requirements
- Valid and active license in good standing as an RN in the state of Arkansas.
- Completion of an accredited nursing program.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principals, practices and procedures.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
- Knowledge of Medicare regulators.
- Prior experience completing M.D.S's.
- Currently AANAC RAC-CT certification or willing to pass certification within 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage a successful Medicare Part A program from admissions through discharge.
