We are comprised of a skilled and caring staff which provides seniors with Nursing Services, Therapeutic Recreation, Spiritual Services, and Social Services, aimed at caring for the whole individual.
Requirements
- Current CT Nursing License.
- One or more years MDS experience
- Demonstrated and applied knowledge of Omnibus Reconciliation Act (OBRA) and Perspective Payment Systems (PPS) regulations.
- Computer proficiency required.
- Excellent assessment and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Manages all aspects of Medicare reporting information to insure optimum payment according to the Omnibus Reconciliation Act 1987 (OBRA) and Perspective Payment System (PPS) regulations and federal guidelines.
- Manages a work area in the Jefferson House environment to ensure that a high quality, cost-effective service is delivered by the department in support of the hospital's strategic plan, and the function's goals and objectives.
