About The Position

Bristol Myers Squibb Company is hiring a(n) MDM Engineer, Pharmaceutical Industry (in Princeton, NJ). This role contributes to the development, deployment, and maintenance of data science and machine learning pipelines, solutions, and products in support of commercialization strategies. The engineer will serve as a member of a hands-on team of data engineers and machine learning engineers, collaborating cross-functionally with analytics and business stakeholders to pilot and deploy advanced data science solutions. The position involves designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable, scalable, and maintainable pipelines for data science products and machine learning applications, establishing best practices for machine learning engineering, data engineering, and machine learning operations. Additionally, the role includes developing and optimizing tools and frameworks to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data scientists, partnering with leadership to monitor emerging trends in data science and engineering technologies, and translating models, pipelines, and technical solutions into clear terms for diverse stakeholders. Building and maintaining data science-related applications using frameworks and applying natural language processing techniques and advanced analytics methods to address complex business problems are also key responsibilities. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of progressive postbaccalaureate related work experience.
  • One (1) year of experience in software testing.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Master data management, Reference data management and data engineering in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
  • Two (2) years of experience in MDM platforms such as Informatica MDM, Reltio and Stibo.
  • Two (2) years of experience in ETL processes and data integration pipelines.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Relational databases including Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL, and Python.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Cloud technologies including AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Implementing regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical data, including GxP, 21 CFR Part 11, and IDMP.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Data visualization and modelling using Tableau.
  • Two (2) years of experience in Reference Data Management using Top braid.
