About The Position

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an MDM Solution Architect to design and lead its enterprise Master Data Management platform from a business-first perspective. The role designs and delivers trusted Property 360, Client 360, and Reference Data, and owns how that data is mastered using a hybrid of Profisee and Databricks technologies, including AI to automate stewardship. The Solution Architect reports to the Senior Director of Data Governance. Data Governance sets enterprise policy, standards, and ownership; the architect translates those decisions and business needs into working MDM solutions. The role administers Profisee, provides technical direction to team members, and partners with data stewards, business data owners, and downstream platform teams. This role calls for a fast learner who starts with business problems, develops feasible solutions, and adopts new technologies and ways of working, including AI. Candidates may come from modern MDM platforms such as Reltio, Stibo, Semarchy, or Ataccama, provided they understand the domain and can quickly master Profisee. The position also contributes expertise in data quality, metadata, and data governance to the agile Data Governance strategy.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise with Profisee, or hands-on experience with a modern enterprise MDM platform and ability to quickly learn and master Profisee.
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise MDM solutions across multiple domains, including strong command of matching, survivorship, and stewardship.
  • Working knowledge of data quality, metadata management, and data governance.
  • Proficiency in analytics platforms such as Databricks to support a hybrid approach to federated mastering globally.
  • Strong technical skills in SQL, data modeling, data integration, and pipelines.
  • A record of measurable impact in previous positions and of bringing different ways of thinking to problem-solving.
  • Ability to adapt across technologies and learn new platforms and tools quickly rather than relying on one product or legacy approaches.
  • Awareness of AI's impact on the technology industry and a clear point of view on its implications for MDM.
  • Strong consultative and communication skills, bridging business and technical needs.
  • Experience providing technical leadership or mentoring, and ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Azure-based data architectures and lakehouse patterns.
  • Experience supporting Property, Client, or Reference data domains.
  • Profisee certifications.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a mathematically focused science discipline.
  • Ability to work comfortably in US EST or CST time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Translate business-domain needs for Property, Client, and Reference data into scalable MDM solutions.
  • Own the current-state to future-state MDM roadmap, prioritized by business value.
  • Advise on MDM strategy, domain onboarding, and platform evolution, communicating clearly with non-technical audiences.
  • Develop practical approaches that turn master data into measurable business value.
  • Define and own MDM architecture across Property 360, Client 360, and Reference Data, including the end-to-end relationship between Profisee and the Databricks lakehouse.
  • Design and document data flows, integration patterns, and dependencies involving Salesforce, Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Synapse, and Databricks.
  • Establish modeling and domain-design approaches appropriate to the business.
  • Ensure master data is reliably consumed by analytics, operational, and reporting platforms with agreed definitions and refresh expectations.
  • Implement in Profisee data-quality rules, matching and survivorship logic, and stewardship workflows defined with business data owners and Data Governance.
  • Use AI to automate stewardship activities such as match suggestions, data-quality remediation, and enrichment.
  • Build intuitive stewardship interfaces and support data profiling to assess readiness for new domains.
  • Administer Profisee across development, test, and production, and oversee CI/CD, performance, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to MDM administrators, technical stewards, and developers.
  • Work with Data Governance and contribute expertise in data quality, metadata, and governance to its agile strategy.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and business teams to remove blockers.

Benefits

  • Eligible employees may enroll in health, vision, and dental insurance programs.
  • Flexible spending accounts and health savings accounts.
  • Retirement savings plans.
  • Life and disability insurance programs.
  • Paid and unpaid time away from work.
  • Competitive pay.
