About The Position

The MCO Turnaround Coordinator performs centralized Load Control duties for the Aer Lingus account, including evening and weekend work. The role ensures load control is accurate, practical, and compliant with procedures, maintaining high standards of safety and quality. It helps ensure aircraft operate within weight and balance limits, supports operational efficiency through appropriate fuel uplift and trim, and contributes to on-time performance for load-control-related issues. The coordinator communicates with Ramp Operations, Cargo, the Operations Control Center, and outside agencies to complete tasks safely, accurately, and punctually. The role also participates in training in Ground Operations areas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of ramp experience in the airline industry.
• Current and valid driver's license.
• Excellent math skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Ensure load control is accurate, practical, and procedurally compliant, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
• Ensure aircraft operate within their operational weight and balance limits.
• Maintain operational efficiency through optimum fuel uplift and trim.
• Contribute to on-time performance on load-control-related issues.
• Communicate with Ramp Operations, Cargo, the Operations Control Center, and outside agencies to complete Load Control tasks safely, accurately, and punctually.
• Participate in training within the airline and/or related agencies in various Ground Operations areas.
