The Mobile Crisis Intervention Specialist – Police Co-responder will utilize their knowledge of behavioral health and experience with utilizing de-escalation and problem solving to intervene with police for individuals/families experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This individual will also utilize their knowledge of systems (i.e. DMH/ DDS/ DYS/ DCF) and CBHI services as well as the Wraparound process to provide clinical care and support to prevent hospitalization and stabilize individuals in the community. S/he is directly responsible to the Mobile Crisis Intervention Manager.
