The Center for Human Development (CHD) is seeking a 1st Shift Co-Response Crisis Clinician (Master’s Level, Licensed or Licensed Eligible) to join their team. This role is part of the CHD Mobile Crisis Team and is embedded within the Wilbraham and Hampden, MA Police Departments. The Co-Response Clinician supports police departments in responding to and following up on behavioral health calls efficiently. This position provides services as part of the CHD Adult Mobile Crisis Intervention (AMCI) and Youth Mobile Crisis Intervention (YMCI) programs, as well as the conjoined CBHC Outpatient Clinic and Crisis Stabilization Programs. The clinician will conduct crisis triage, evaluations, disposition recommendations, follow-up interventions, stabilization planning, and referral planning for immediate resources. They will assess needs, determine the least restrictive level of care, and arrange treatment transition and engagement. The role requires knowledge of and ability to utilize internal agency and external community resources for intervention planning. Evaluations will take place in various community settings, with dedicated space available in the Police Departments for evaluations, team-building with police staff, and rapid availability to support the police department.
