Summary: This is an entry level position for production; Marion is a LAP Facility – Load, Assemble and Pack. The ability to maintain a constant, quick, pace on an assembly line is required. Visual inspection skills are needed to spot imperfections in a finished, assembled, part.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and/or equivalent combination of experience
• Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with supervision and fellow employees
• Must have the ability to read and understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and safety signs and instructions
• Must be able to perform basic math
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Pre-employment background and medical screening will be required if selected for hire.
• Must be able to work all shifts and overtime, as required

Nice To Haves

• Previous background in assembly and pack is a plus.
• Production experience (assembly and pack) is preferred

Responsibilities

• Must be able to work all shifts and overtime, as required
• Package finished products and prepare for shipment.
• Performs assembly line tasks in a manufacturing setting.
• Ensure the production line runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Inspecting assembled products to verify they meet quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area.
• Inspect product for any defects and flaws.
