MC Driver
About The Position
K&S Corporation is a dominant multi-modal transport and logistics provider in Australia and New Zealand with an 80-year history. K&S Freighters is a key part of this, operating one of Australia's largest company-owned fleets and delivering seamless, end-to-end logistics solutions. This position will primarily cover the Portland to Melbourne runs, with occasional local work also. Full training will be provided, including load restraint and buddy training with an experienced driver. You will be operating new Scania trucks equipped with fatigue cameras and satellite tracking.
Requirements
- Valid MC license
- Good driving history
- Ability to follow instructions, and to communicate effectively
- Strong commitment to safety
- Previous experience operating and reversing B-Doubles with local deliveries
- Full Australian working rights

Responsibilities
- Transport bulk general freight for local deliveries, runs from Portland to Melbourne, and occasional local work.
- Apply appropriate load restraint understanding to meet safety requirements.
- Load & unload trailers using a counterbalance forklift.
- Move products around the yard, on and off different trailers as required.
- Undertake pre-start vehicle checks.
- General housekeeping of vehicles.
