About The Position

Memory Care Caregiver Dallas Retirement Village | Dallas, OR Schedule: Saturday - Wednesday, Day Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM We're looking for compassionate, dependable team members who are passionate about supporting seniors living with memory loss in a safe, respectful, and person-centered environment. At Dallas Retirement Village, our Memory Care Caregivers play a vital role in helping residents maintain comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This position provides hands-on assistance with daily living activities while building meaningful relationships and supporting residents through every stage of their journey. Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• CPR, First Aid, and AED certification required or ability to obtain within required timeframe.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience working with older adults preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively and document care accurately.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate, patient, and resident-focused approach.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support and assistance to residents while promoting safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Support residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and positioning.
• Assist with meal service, dining support, and hydration needs.
• Monitor residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or safety concerns.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and meaningful engagement opportunities.
• Assist residents with appointments, activities, and community participation.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow individualized service plans.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Follow infection prevention, safety, and emergency procedures.
• Support a calm, welcoming, and resident-centered environment.
