About The Position

SAIC's Intel Space Organization is hiring an entry to mid-level systems engineer to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services to a customer within the Intelligence Community (IC) in Chantilly, VA. This customer is responsible for designing, building, and operating national security-related systems based in space, in the air, and on the ground. The organization supported provides enterprise architecting, analysis, and systems engineering solutions that determine current and future national space systems.

Requirements

• Model-based Systems Engineering experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph
• Working knowledge of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) collection systems and architecture
• Working knowledge of communications systems
• Working knowledge of agency requirements management tool
• Experience with requirements development and definition activities to include stakeholder engagement and customer needs elicitation
• Understanding of core systems engineering and analysis disciplines and processes
• Working knowledge of enterprise architectures and associated UAF views
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering and Technical Assistance (SETA) services to an IC customer.
