About The Position

The MBA Transformational Student Experience Manager is responsible for strategic development, management and continuous enhancement of the co-curricular and extracurricular experiences that enrich the value proposition of the Carson College of Business MBA programs. This role ensures that transformational learning opportunities complement academic programs, strengthen student engagement, support professional development and contribute to positive student and alumni experience. Responsibilities include assessing market trends and student needs; designing and implementing innovative programs and initiatives; securing and coordinating resources; establishing operational procedures and practices; overseeing program delivery; and developing metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and student impact. The position is responsible for measuring, analyzing and communicating the success of transformational student experiences for enrolled MBA students. The manager collaborates extensively across functional areas within the office of Graduate and Online Programs and partners with faculty, alumni, employers, service providers, university and community partners to deliver high-impact experiences that enhance student success and program competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of professional work experience in student services or related education/experience
  • Experience leading or directing the work of others
  • Demonstrated experience planning student facing events, student programs, or industry events that lead to specific goals and outcomes
  • Previous experience providing career services, employment services, or corporate engagement activities
  • Demonstrated skills with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook, Copilot
  • Outstanding oral and written communication
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and applying academic rules, policies and procedures
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, programs and timelines
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a related field
  • Previous experience providing student services, career services, veteran support, or student affairs at Washington State University or other higher education institutions
  • Demonstrated experience in a multi-campus system with academic partners
  • Experience building organizational relationships and managing diverse stakeholder needs
  • Previous experience collecting, interpreting, presenting data and making recommendations to evaluate program efficacy
