About The Position

This is an opportunity for an MBA intern to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced startup environment. The intern will work closely with the CEO, acting as a second brain and supporting various functions including product design, event logistics, competitive research, and customer calls. This is not a typical 9-to-5 internship; the role requires a commitment to working in the office five days a week and often involves 10+ hour days. The position is ideal for individuals who are driven to understand the realities of building a company and are looking for an immersive experience rather than just a resume line item.

Requirements

• Aspiring to start a company in the future and seeking foundational experience.
• Demonstrated experience in building something, such as a side project, student organization, or a previous startup.
• Ability to figure things out independently without explicit instructions.
• Interest in the intersection of law and business, with curiosity about how regulated companies operate.
• Clear writing skills.
• Fast thinking ability.
• Proactive and self-starting attitude.
• Proficiency in using AI tools.
• Understanding of software/product architecture is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in compliance or financial services.
• Consideration of law school.
• Fundamental understanding of software/product architecture.

Responsibilities

• Building operational infrastructure, including meeting cadences, project tracking, dashboards, and cross-functional coordination.
• Planning and executing events such as conferences and founder dinners, owning logistics, strategy, and follow-up.
• Driving strategic projects including market research, competitive analysis, pricing experiments, partnership development, and new vertical exploration.
• Shaping product by working directly with the CEO and engineering on product design, feature prioritization, and roadmap decisions.
• Handling unplanned but critical tasks that arise in a startup environment.
