About The Position

BloomNet, part of the 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. family of brands, is seeking a highly motivated MBA candidate or recent graduate to support a 10-week strategic project focused on pricing and fees for our local shop network. This role will partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to conduct research, analyze business data, and develop insights that inform strategic recommendations. This position is ideal for a current MBA student looking to gain hands-on consulting or corporate strategy experience while contributing to a high-impact business initiative.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an MBA or other postgraduate business degree preferred; recent graduates encouraged to apply
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with business analysis, strategy development, consulting projects, or academic consulting engagements
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to translate complex information into clear insights and recommendations
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities within a short-term project environment

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in consulting, corporate strategy, operations, or analytics
• Exposure to data visualization tools, financial modeling, or strategic analysis
• Experience working on academic consulting projects, internships, or strategic initiatives

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis related to pricing and revenue strategy
• Gather and synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities
• Develop strategic recommendations and operational improvement opportunities
• Create presentations, reports, and executive summaries for leadership stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and validate findings
• Support project planning, milestone tracking, and deliverable execution
• Present project findings and recommendations to leadership at the conclusion of the engagement
