About The Position

GHG Corporation is seeking a Maximo Lead Developer to support an IBM contract. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and implementing Maximo applications for enterprise systems. The developer will conduct multidisciplinary research, collaborate with engineers and analysts, and lead the development of algorithms, database design, and integration strategies. Responsibilities include overseeing developer teams, ensuring software quality, mitigating risks, and applying scientific analysis to optimize system performance. The role requires deep knowledge of Maximo, functional and technical areas, and the ability to create software development plans and strategies. Experience in developing and implementing algorithms and database design is essential. The developer will oversee the work of other developers, conduct quality control, and identify and mitigate risks in the software development process. This includes devising solutions to predicted problems, evaluating options, and testing the program's output.

Requirements

Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Technical Functional resource of IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management Software.
IBM Maximo 7.x application configuration and support (e.g., Maximo Integration Framework, Java, and BIRT report writing).
IBM Maximo 7.x installation and upgrade experience.
Experience with Maximo Migration Manager, Workflow Designer, Application Designer and Database Configuration applications.
Java and Python programming.
Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
Certified Maximo Deployment Professional.
Experience in developing and implementing algorithms.
Experience in database design.
Eligible for Security Clearance: United States - MBI.
Must be either a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident Alien (No HQ visa holders).

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with USPS.
Certified in one Cloud Service Provider.
Maximo 9 Experience.

Responsibilities

Design, code, and implement Maximo applications, enhancements, and configurations across functional and technical areas.
Develop algorithms and design/optimize relational databases to support performance and scalability.
Create software development plans, technical strategies, and coding standards to guide project execution.
Work closely with stakeholders and team members, contributing to solution design and sharing technical expertise.
Conduct research on specialized areas, devise solutions to potential issues, and evaluate alternatives.
Oversee work of developers.
Conduct quality control of software development.
Conduct proactive risk identification and mitigation of software development process.
Devise possible solutions to predicted problems, evaluating other options.
Work as part of a team to write a specific section of the program.
Combine all elements of the program design and testing it.
Test sample data-sets to check that output from the program works as intended.
