About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Maximo Developer position for our client. This role involves developing, configuring, customizing, and upgrading IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) environments. The developer will translate business requirements into technical solutions, design and support integrations with third-party systems, and perform system updates, patch management, and performance monitoring. Responsibilities also include data management, reporting, advanced SQL, database management, process automation, and collaborating with various stakeholders. The role supports both production and non-production environments, requiring installation, configuration, testing, debugging, and upgrades. Additionally, the developer will create technical documentation and support knowledge sharing, user training, change management, and version control, ensuring solutions meet security, privacy, compliance, quality, and performance standards.

Requirements

• IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) development, configuration, customization, and integration.
• Advanced SQL, database management, data management, and reporting.
• Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) and middleware technologies, including IIB, WebSphere DataPower, Software AG, TIBCO, or Mule.
• Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of automation, DevOps, cloud technologies, and enterprise application architecture.
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem-solving, process improvement, and communication skills.
• 5–8 years of hands-on IBM Maximo development experience, including MAS 9, upgrades, integrations, and implementation.
• Experience working with complex enterprise applications and middleware in production and non-production environments.
• Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions and collaborating with cross-functional business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with system implementation, process optimization, change management, version control, testing, debugging, and technical documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

Responsibilities

• Develop, configure, customize, and upgrade IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) environments.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and application designs.
• Design, configure, test, troubleshoot, and support Maximo integrations with third-party and enterprise systems.
• Perform system updates, patch management, performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Support data management, reporting, advanced SQL, database management, and process automation.
• Collaborate with business users, developers, architects, technical teams, and management on implementation and integration initiatives.
• Support production and non-production environments, including installation, configuration, testing, debugging, and upgrades.
• Develop technical documentation and support knowledge sharing, user training, change management, and version control.
• Ensure solutions meet applicable security, privacy, compliance, quality, and performance standards.
