Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer-focused
  • Professionalism and a willingness to participate actively in training programs to improve product knowledge are essential.

  • College degree is a plus
  • Able to travel within 50 miles of their home address to the assigned store

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by warmly greeting customers and approaching them in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Demonstrate empathy and active listening skills to understand customers' preferences, needs, and concerns.
  • Engage in meaningful conversations to gather detailed information about customers' sleep preferences, comfort levels, and specific requirements.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of mattress types, brands, materials, and features to recommend suitable options that cater to customers' individual needs.
  • Effectively communicate the benefits and unique features of different mattresses, showcasing expertise to guide customers in making informed decisions.
  • Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations, highlighting the superior comfort, support, and features of various mattresses.
  • Assist customers in testing mattresses, providing expert guidance on proper posture, comfort evaluation, and support assessment.
  • Stay up-to-date with current promotions, pricing, and financing options to provide accurate and relevant information to customers.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, including new mattress releases and advancements in technology, to offer the latest and most innovative products.
  • Focus on building strong and lasting relationships with customers by delivering exceptional service and personalized attention.
  • Strive to exceed customer expectations by going above and beyond in meeting their needs and preferences.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of sales transactions, including handling cash, credit card payments, and financing applications.
  • Collaborate with the store team to maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor that creates a pleasant shopping environment.
  • Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels, ensuring product availability, and maintaining well-organized product displays.
  • Utilize the opportunity to develop and create meaningful relationships in the community that generates lifelong customers.
  • Conduct oneself with professionalism, honesty, and integrity. Represent the company's values and maintain a positive image by upholding ethical standards and delivering on promises.
  • Offer creative solutions and recommendations to address customer-specific sleep-related issues or challenges. Use knowledge of the product range to match customers with the best possible mattress options for their needs.
  • Implement top-down selling strategies by identifying the key decision-maker, gaining a thorough understanding of their requirements, emphasizing premium features that promote sleep health benefits, and demonstrating the product's long-term value to secure their buy-in.
