Requirements

• Ability to read, write and understand English
• Basic math skills
• Previous sewing machine experience in an industrial setting
• Attention to detail is a must
• Produce at a level to maintain integrity of Make-To-Order system
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively in a safe manner

Responsibilities

• Create the bottom panel by attaching the bottom velour to the border.
• Sew border and may need to include sewing in the law tag and hanging label
• Obtain border and panel from storage racks
• Sew border, including sewing in the law tag
• Cut thread as necessary and push completed piece to sort and match
• Inspect stitching to detect defects and repair accordingly
• Report machine issues that are causing defects to Supervisor
• Maintain cleanliness in work area
• Perform related duties as assigned
