About The Position

Balluff, Inc. is seeking Matrix Vision Products Engineers at their Florence, Kentucky facility to design, build, troubleshoot, and maintain Matrix Vision products, systems, and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering, or closely related field and/or foreign degree equivalent.
  • 24 months experience as a technical engineer or in any related occupation in the following duties as related to Matrix Vision products: Analyze requirements and design comprehensive technical solutions (Matrix Vision Products), which includes necessary programming relative to the time characteristics of the signals and their information content, charge coupled devices and complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor, and set other technical parameters.
  • Experience designing solutions using Ethernet/USB camera families, raster electron microscopes, laser scanning microscopes, x-ray sensors, ultrasonic sensors, stereo cameras, and duplex camera, to include all appropriate hardware and software.
  • Experience conducting specialized technical training on camera usage (connectivity, FPGA, SDK) and unique special functions (Counters, MicroPLC, Sequencers, FFC, Multi-AOI, etc.).
  • Experience ensuring compliance with electronic measurement standards developed by the European Machine Vision Association (EMVA 1288).
