About The Position

We are seeking a creative and technically proficient Matrix 3D Designer to join our dynamic team within the prestigious Gems & Jewellery sector. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for translating artistic concepts into high-fidelity three-dimensional models that showcase the intricate beauty and precision of fine jewelry. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between design aesthetics and manufacturing feasibility, ensuring that every digital prototype meets the exacting standards of our industry. This position is critical for driving our product innovation pipeline, allowing us to visualize complex settings, textures, and gemstone arrangements before physical production begins.

Requirements

• A minimum of 1 to 3 years of professional experience specifically in 3D design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in the Gems & Jewellery domain.
• Proven proficiency in industry-standard 3D matrix modeling software (such as Matrix, Rhino, or similar specialized jewelry design tools).
• Deep understanding of jewelry construction techniques, metal properties, and gemstone settings to ensure designs are both beautiful and manufacturable.
• Strong artistic eye with the ability to visualize proportions, scale, and detail in three-dimensional space.
• Excellent communication skills in English and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Attention to detail is paramount, with a commitment to delivering pixel-perfect models and flawless visualizations.
• Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop precise and detailed 3D digital models of jewelry pieces using specialized matrix modeling software, ensuring geometric accuracy and structural integrity.
• Collaborate closely with senior designers and artisans to interpret rough sketches and conceptual ideas into viable, production-ready 3D assets.
• Optimize 3D models for rapid prototyping, casting, and rendering processes, ensuring seamless workflow integration with our manufacturing partners.
• Apply advanced texturing and lighting techniques to simulate realistic materials, including various gold alloys, platinum, and a wide range of gemstones.
• Review and refine digital designs to ensure they align with current market trends, client specifications, and technical constraints of the jewelry industry.
• Prepare high-resolution renderings and visual presentations for client approvals, marketing materials, and internal design reviews.
• Maintain organized digital asset libraries and version control systems to streamline the design iteration process.
