Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED required and 0-3 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Plans, schedules and monitors inbound movement of materials from suppliers
  • Determines material requirements and coordinates the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering
  • Develops specifications for new contract orders
  • Performs clerical duties associated with Materials Planning & Scheduling
  • Performs clerical functions to assist material planners in coordinating raw materials for efficient production.
  • Uses systems to monitor and track materials from purchasing, processing, warehousing, and production.
  • Inputs material needs, including all codes, brands, and contact information necessary to process orders in system or database.
  • Tracks and develops reports to monitor performance metrics such as inventory levels, scheduled deliveries, and supplier performance.
  • Computer experience a must & be able to create storeroom part numbers, locations, inventory adj., & min/max levels for business needs
  • Able to work 2nd or 3rd shift hours
  • Team player
  • Fast learner, able to multitask, look up/order parts quickly as issues arise, clean work area & organized
