About The Position
North Haven High School (NHHS) is looking for a motivated math teacher to become part of a collaborative department. The role involves teaching Algebra 1 and Geometry. NHHS offers support for new teachers through a mentor program, the math department, and administration, including an optional "New Teacher Orientation" series. The school operates on a 4 by 4, alternate-day block schedule where faculty teach 3 classes one day and 2 classes the next, along with a duty. Each day includes an 82-minute planning period and a 30-minute lunch.
