North Haven High School Long Term Mathematics Substitute Teacher
About The Position
North Haven High School (NHHS) is seeking a dynamic math teacher to join a tight-knit department team. The candidate should have the capacity to teach Algebra 1 and Geometry. Additional credentials can lead to additional teaching opportunities in the future. New teachers to NHHS are welcomed and supported by an assigned mentor, the math department, and the administration, which runs an interactive, optional “New Teacher Orientation” series. In our 4 by 4, alternate-day block schedule, NHHS faculty members teach 3 classes one day and two the other day (plus a duty). Each day, faculty have an 82 minute unassigned planning period plus a 30 minute lunch.
