About The Position
SMCC is seeking Mathematics Adjuncts for the Fall 2026 semester, running from August 31, 2026, to December 19, 2026. Courses include Pathways to College Mathematics, Quantitative Reasoning, Technical Mathematics, and Statistics. The primary focus is on courses offered at the SMCC Midcoast Campus in Brunswick, Maine, though other course opportunities may arise. SMCC utilizes Brightspace as its learning management system, and some courses incorporate Pearson's MyMathLab (MML).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- Ability to teach in-person or via Zoom.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Must complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with Brightspace learning management system.
- Familiarity with Pearson's MyMathLab (MML).
Responsibilities
