About The Position

Think Zone is seeking a Part-Time Math Tutor to help elementary and middle school students build confidence in math. This role offers valuable leadership, communication, and teaching experience, making it ideal for high school and college students. Tutors will provide one-on-one math instruction, explain concepts, encourage problem-solving, and track student progress using provided curriculum and resources. No lesson planning is required as the curriculum, materials, and training are supplied by Think Zone. The position is part-time, with 6-12 hours per week and opportunities for additional hours, designed to fit around school schedules.

Requirements

• Currently in high school (16+) or college, or have a high school diploma
• Enjoy helping others learn
• Have a strong foundation in math
• Communicate clearly and patiently
• Are responsible and dependable
• Love encouraging and motivating younger students
• Can work 2-4 shifts per week
• Saturday availability strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

• Teaching or tutoring experience is a plus
