About The Position

Rocklin's Tutoring Team is seeking an energetic and experienced math tutor to join their team. The tutor will assist students individually and in small groups (no more than 3 students per table) with creating programs and completing homework. The goal is to help students reach their full potential and raise their spirits. The ideal candidate is reliable, friendly, understanding, accepting of all backgrounds, looks professional, and has a passion for education. This role is suitable for retired teachers, substitute teachers, and college students looking to gain teaching experience. The company offers a friendly and supportive environment for both team members and students.

Requirements

• Previous experience tutoring
• Can pass a skills test to verify you can teach up to integrated 3 common core math
• High school diploma required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to pass a background check, Live Scan
• Must live nearby in order to get to work on time

Nice To Haves

• AA or bachelor’s degree preferred
